IMO GUBER: Okorocha blames Oshiomhole, says posterity will judge him

Security agencies in Imo State have been called upon to hold immediate-past Governor, Rochas Okorocha, responsible for any breach of peace in the state.

The call was made by Chairman, Igbo Traditional Rulers Forum, His Royal Majesty, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya while speaking to newsmen in his palace on Sunday.

According to Eze Ilomuanya who also doubles as the Chancellor of the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Okorocha’s comments where he asked his supporters to defend themselves is capable of inciting people against the government.

Eze Ilomuanya condemned the comments by Okorocha describing his utterance and the threat he issued against the present administration as “reckless”.

He said; Okorocha should be held responsible for any breach of peace in Imo. If it were under his tyrannical and intolerant administration, anybody who dared exhibit what he did would have been openly attacked by his crude thugs whom he always harboured.”

“Okorocha’s recent open display of rascality and uncivilised utterances unbecoming of a former governor,” he added.

“Rather than engage in a show of irresponsibility, Okorocha should wait for the outcome of the panels set up to probe his administration,” Eze IIomuanya advised.
