Hosts, nominees named for Future Awards Africa 2016

Organisers of The Future Awards Africa, now in its 11th year have unveiled the hosts for this year’s edition of the award ceremony taking place in Lagos later this month.

Billed to host this year’s edition is the pair of actor and TV personality Timini Egbuson and TV host & fashion IT girl, Mimi Onalaja- a combination of fresh talents who are both promising and excited about Nigerian arts and culture.

Also revealed by the organisers is a long list of nominees who will slug it out with other equally qualified candidates for the listed award categories with anticipation now on the high.

The nominees, who are aged between 18-32, are the key players, shaping the future, of today, in technology, arts & culture, business, fashion and every other sphere of our lives.

“It goes without saying that we have had one of the most difficult years in our history. The days are bleak. But the stories of these nominees and their works help me remember that through the concrete roses will grow. We can still bloom. It is not over,” said Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi, Chairman, Central Working Committee, The Future Awards Africa.
