House of Reps summons Emefiele

Maintaining stable exchange rate better than building foreign reserves —Emefiele

The House of Representatives on Tuesday summoned the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele over some abandoned projects in the country.

This was even as the Ad hoc committee investigating abandoned projects across the country from 2019-till date on Tuesday also summoned the the former ministers of Niger Delta, and former Managing Directors of NDDC.

The ad-hoc committee chaired by Mr. Nicholas Ossai from Delta State had invited the aforementioned, but they failed to appear before it during the committee’s public hearing held on Tuesday.
