How Bobby Brown lost out on Whitney’s will

Published

on

Before the legendary singer, Whitney Houston, died, she made a will, her only child Bobbi Kristina, was set to inherit £20 million after her death. Bobbi Kristina was supposed to get 1/10 when she turns 21 and 1/6 of the balance when she turns 25.

Whitney’s will provided that if her daughter died before reaching 25, all the money would go to the people Whitney designated, which did not include her ex, Brown.

Since Bobbi had died before she turned 25, those who would share her mother’s estate are mother Cissy and brothers Micheal and Gary.

Bobby Brown, Whitney’s ex-husband’ was mentioned in the will; he was supposed to get a cut. But it seemed it is not going to happen because Whitney’s words in the will stipulated, “My husband, Robert B. Brown.” The will was drafted before they divorced in 2007.

According to the law of New Jersey, when the will was drafted, Bobby will not get a penny because being Whitney’s husband is what qualifies him and he is no longer that.
