How Kogi PDP gov’s candidate campaign vehicle killed four inside kiosk

A Mercedes Benz G-Wagon on the campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kogi State, Musa Wada, on Saturday allegedly killed four persons.

The four persons were said to be inside a kiosk in Idah area of the state when the vehicle, supposedly a back-up car for the PDP candidate, rammed into them.

The incident was confirmed by the Chief Administrator of Idah Local Government, Hilary Edime Amodu.

Amodu’s media aide, Idachaba Muhammed, in statement confirming the incident said, “A Mercedes G-Wagon belonging to one of the governorship candidates in [the November 16] Kogi State election ran into a portacabin at Igala-Ogba, Idah, opposite Idakwo Park, killing all the occupants.”

The G-Wagon driver and those inside the vehicle were said to be in critical condition at unnamed hospital.

The state police command were yet to confirm the report when this story was filed.
