Hugh Jackman saves son, swimmers from riptide

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman in what looked like a scene from an action movie saved his son and several other swimmers who were caught up in a strong riptide at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

The thespian who is internationally known for the superhero roles he played in the X-Men film series was filmed as he was helping to retrieve his son, Oscar and several others caught up in the riptide.

The video obtained by Australia’s Nine news shows Jackman waving at people in the water alerting them to swim back to safety.

The 47-year-old Australian actor was also seen in the water grabbing the arm of a man who was also holding onto a young girl.
