After a howler that led to Tottenham conceding an early goal versus Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris picked up a serious arm injury.
The Spurs captain received oxygen on the pitch before he was taken off on a stretcher and replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga.
Brighton went on to win the game 3-0 and added to a miserable week having been beaten 7-2 by Bayern Munich in midweek.
Tottenham have now failed to win in their last away 10 games in the Premier League, stretching back to a 2-1 victory at Fulham on 20 January.
