I really feel sorry for Secondus for rejecting result of presidential poll —Buhari’s aide Onochie
President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie, has said that she “really feels sorry” for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Uche Secondus.
She stated this on Wednesday in reference to the role of Secondus in the opposition party’s rejection of the February 23 presidential election result, that saw Buhari declared as winner of the poll.
Secondus had on Tuesday led other PDP members to a protest march to Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC’s) office in Abuja, where the submitted a letter. They maintained in the letter that the presidential election was manipulated in favour of the ruling party.
Responding in a post on her Twitter handle Onochie said, “What a sorry sight to watch Uche Secondus, on #NationalTV, reporting @officialEFCC to @inecnigeria.
“I know what to do if he was a member of my family. I hope his family knows what to do. I really feel sorry for the man.
