I was away from Nigeria on doctor’s instruction – Aisha Buhari

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, said on Sunday she stayed abroad for too long because of “doctor’s instruction.”

She disclosed this during a chat with journalists at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Mrs. Buhari said she is okay now and would take more time to rest.

The President’s wife said:“I have taken my holiday for this year and it happened that after the holiday, I needed to attend to my health before going to Saudi.

“When I went to Saudi, based on the doctor’s instruction, I went back to the United Kingdom.

“I am well now but still, I need more rest.”

She thanked Nigerians for their constant prayers for her and President Muhammadu Buhari.
