Onyiwara Faith, the corps member who was rescued from kidnappers’ den in the early hours of on Tuesday by teams of policemen led by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu , has revealed her ordeals in the hands of the bandits.

Onyiwara said she was beaten and threatened by her abductors during her four days in captivity.

The corps member, who was posted to AB and C farms in Ilamija Nla area of Epe, Lagos, was abducted on her way to the Community Development Service (CDS) meeting last Friday by some armed men.

However, two days into the negotiation, the state police command was able to trace the kidnappers’ den to a swampy forest around Ilamija Nla, Epe.

She said: ” I was going to the CDS with my colleagues when I was abducted by four boys. Two of them had guns while the rest had cutlasses. They left my colleagues and took me inside the bush. They left me in the cold. I was beaten and threatened to be killed. I stayed there for four days. On the fifth day, we heard sounds of gunshots and they ran away. About two of them brought me out towards the farm’s direction, left me and ran back inside the bush. That is all I could recall.”
