Ibrahimovic makes history in United's 3-0 victory

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic score the second of the three goals scored by his side in their victory over reigning Premier League champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

The former Sweden international and PSG ace joined United in the summer, and has made an instant impact at Old Trafford.

The 34-year old proved his doubters wrong in emphatic style having had an impressive run of performances for Jose Mourinho’s side with 15 league goals for the Red Devils this season.

The former Barcelona man also made Premier League history earlier in the season, netting the competition’s 25,000th goal with his strike against Swansea.

Ibrahimovic’s strike on Sunday adds his name to the history books as he becomes the oldest player to reach that figure in a single season.

And after the goal which placed United in a commanding lead at Leicester, Ibrahimovic now has 20 goals in 32 games in all competitions as the 2016/17 campaign continues.
