Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye, scored his sixth goals in 14 appearances for Olympiakos in the current Greek Super League season as they defeated Levadiakos 3 – 1 at Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki (Pireás) on Sunday.

Ideye opened score for the Greek Super League champions who recorded their 17th win of the season from the same number of games, in the 15th minute from close range after he was set up by the Colombian Pardo.

The former West Brom striker had a decent chance to double the advantage in the 28th minute but missed the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Nigerian born Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi has expressed delight on his FA Cup debut at the weekend.

Iwobi started the match and shone brightly as Arsenal defeated Sunderland 3-1 to move to the next round of the competition.

“It is amazing. It is the best feeling ever. It is a dream come true. Since I was a young boy I have always wanted to put on my shirt with Iwobi on my back with the Emirates [crowd] screaming my name,” he told Arsenal.com.

“As a young kid I always wondered if I would get there and to have this opportunity today, I’m just thankful. It was a young boy’s dream come true. Playing at home with everyone screaming your name and giving you the confidence to express yourself – it felt like a proper debut.”

“Training and playing with them [the first team] every day is such a learning curve. Hopefully I can train with them more and play more so I can develop every day.”

Saturday match marked Iwobi’s second appearance for the Gunners, having made his debut in Arsenal’s League Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, but this was the Nigerian’s first full appearance on home soil.
