Iheanacho joins Middlesbrough on loan until season’s end

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a loan move to English Championship side Middlesbrough, where he will remain until the end of the season.
Iheanacho makes the switch from LaLiga club Sevilla, having joined the Spanish side on a free transfer last summer.
The 28-year-old previously played in the Championship with Leicester City, playing a key role in their successful promotion campaign to the Premier League last season.

During his time at Sevilla, he made 11 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals.
With over 300 career appearances and 85 goals to his name, Iheanacho brings a wealth of experience to Middlesbrough. He has also been a valuable asset for Nigeria, netting 15 times in 57 international games.
The versatile forward began his professional career at Manchester City, winning the League Cup as an 18-year-old before moving to Leicester City in 2017.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has joined Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.
