Iheanacho scores, bags assist as Leicester advance in Carabao Cup

Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho scored in Leicester’s 4-0 victory over Luton City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The Nigeria international was involved in the third goal as his cross helped Youri Tielemans score after Demarai Gray and James Justin had put Leicester in control.

Iheanacho sealed the rout in the 86th minute to ensure the Foxes continued their fine start to the season as they reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi won 2-0 with Everton at Sheffield Wednesday.

Elsewhere, League Two Colchester United produced a huge upset as they beat Tottenham Hotspur on penalties to reach advance.

Both sides played a goalless draw in regulation time, before Colchester defeated the Premier League side 4-3 in the shootouts.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal thrashed Nottingham Forrest 5-0, while holders Manchester City eased past Preston 3-0.

Watford beat Swansea 2-1 to advance while Southampton thrashed Portsmouth 4-0 in derby.
