Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has expressed confidence that Manchester City will end the season with silverware.

Iheanacho, who scored his fifth goal of the season in City’s 3-0 victory at Norwich City on Saturday, believes Man City can hunt for all four major trophies this season.

“I think we’re going to go far this season and we’re going to get something,” the 19-year old told Espn.com

“We’re going to get trophies this season because we have the players to get it and the manager. We pray we don’t have any injuries and if we don’t get any, we will win trophies.”

The Capital One Cup is probably City’s easiest chance of silverware but they must first overcome a 2-1 semifinal first leg deficit to Everton, while they sit three points behind leaders Arsenal in the Premier League.

“I think every year that comes, comes with different games, different kinds of players, different coaches and different philosophies, I know that,” he said. “But I think City has all it takes.

“They have great players, a good team, a good manager, so the games that we’ve lost, it’s past. We have to focus on the games ahead and we have to keep winning. But if we lose we have to put it behind us and keep working hard and at the end of the season we hope to get our hands on the trophy.”
