IMO: Traditional rulers back Ihedioha's probe of ex-Gov. Okorocha

Immediate past governor of Imo, Rochas Okorocha, has been given till midnight of Tuesday (today) to completely handover all government property his government utilized on behalf of the people to the state.

The order was given to Okorocha by the state’s new governor, Emeka Ihedioha, who said all the property should be handed over to the newly inaugurated Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Uche Onyeagucha, and Chief of Staff of Imo State Government, Chris Okewulonu.

He gave the ultimatum at the Government House, Owerri, when Onyeagucha, and Okewulonu were sworn-in as SSG and the State Chief of Staff respectively.

The new governor said the Permanent Secretary and Head of Service under Okorocha should right away get ready all the necessary documents and hand them over to Onyeagucha and Okewulonu before the deadline.

He reiterated that Okorocha messed up Imo State Government House and called on anybody that cares, to come see what the place currently looks like.
