Ijaw youths shut down Glo network in Balyesa

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone on Thursday morning shut down telecommunication masts belonging to Globalcom in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

The youth forum claimed the telecommunication company had refused to sit at a roundtable with them to resolve some of their corporate issues affecting the state.

Ripples Nigeria gathered that the Chairman, IYC, Central Zone, Kennedy Olorogun, also ordered Glo network subscribers to port to other networks pending the willingness of the company’s managers to resolve the problems.
