Ikorodu Utd players escape death in ghastly accident  
Players and officials of Ikorodu United of Lagos Friday evening escaped death after their bus was involved in a ghastly accident on their way to Makurdi, Benue State for NPFL Match Day 22 fixture with Lobi Stars billed forSunday, June 19, 2016.
The team was travelling in a Chisco bus, which collided with a truck that over-turned and burst into flames at about 4pm along AMA Brewery Road 9th Mile, Enugu.

The club in a tweet via its Twitter handle, @FCIkoroduunited said: “Ikorodu United bus was involved in an accident on their way to Makurdi at about 4pm today.

“We give glory to God for His Mercy in our lives. The players sustained minor injuries.
“The players sustained minor injuries. None of Ikorodu United players died but sustained minor injuries.
“It is an 18 seater bus. We praise God.”
