Business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim, has reportedly lost his mom, Theresa Jimoh, in a mystery inferno

The disputed governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim, has vowed to sue Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

Ibrahim, who said he was only waiting for the governor to leave office in February before filing a petition against him, alleged that the state has become bankrupt under the flamboyant government of Mimiko, with an alarming debt profile.

Ibrahim, the governorship candidate of the Ali Modu Sheriff-led faction of the PDP stated this on Monday while speaking to newsmen in Akure the state capital.

“I am not going to prostrate or beg anybody before I become the governor. I will only beg the electorate. So, take it from me: I’m not going even to have any type of meeting with anybody. That is recalcitrant to this ambition. It is not a do or die affair,” he said.

Ibrahim called on supporters who are involved in reconciliation moves towards winning the November 26 gubernatorial election to stop troubling themselves because he was not going to plead with any political leader in the state to support his ambition.

He said, “I don’t need to back Mimiko at this time, I am Jimoh Ibrahim and I can sue him after he leaves office and if I have a petition against him I can write it after he leaves office. Mimiko’s term will end on February 24, 2017. I will sue him, if I need to fight him, I will fight him”.
Mimiko is of the Makarfi-led faction of the party that has been opposed to the court order declaring Ibrahim as the candidate of the party in the forthcoming election, instead of Eyitayo Jegede.
