IMO: Ararume, Izunaso dump APC for APGA
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Wednesday, lost two heavyweight politicians in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and Senator Osita Izunaso to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Ararume is a top contender for the state governorship election in the 2019 general elections in Imo State while Izunaso is the immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the APC.

The duo were at the National Headquarters of APGA on Wednesday to perform their defections and were in a meeting with the National Chairman of the Party, Dr. Victor Oye for two hours.
The two politicians had been in a running battle with the Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha
