INEC to publish Anambra voter list Wednesday

The Independent National Electoral Commission has said it will publish the register of voters for the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State on Wednesday (today)

The Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Mr. Leo Nkedife, disclosed this to Punch correspondent on Tuesday in Awka, Anambra State.

He said the exercise was in compliance with Section 34 of the Electoral Act 2010 which provides for the publication of the voter register at a period not less than 30 days before the Election Day.

He said the unveiling of the voter register would take place in a hotel in Awka, the state capital at 11am.
