The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo on Monday said it will take delivery of sensitive voting materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The commission’s assistant director on Voter Education and Publicity, Mrs Prisillia Sule, stated in an interview in Benin on Monday, adding that the party agents of the 19 political parties participating in the September 28 governorship election had been invited to observer the retrieval of the sensitive materials at the CBN.

According to her, INEC headquarters had deployed national and resident electoral commissioners to support Edo Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mr Sam Olumekun, to conduct the election.
