Apparently worried over the spate of insecurity in the country, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has on Tuesday, said the Federal Government needs to be totally committed if it cares to put an end to insurgency.

The monarch, who was equally worried on how some Nigerians fled their homes over insecurity issues, said government at all levels should work together to reverse the ugly trend.

He advised that serious commitment, action and prayers, would help to overcome the situation, adding, that no problem is insurmountable.

The monarch while commending the Federal Government effort to end insecurity, urged that sophisticated weapon should be provided to encourage the military men combating the situation.

Going forward, the Sultan also called for fervent prayers for leaders to succeed in discharging their mandates.

The monarch, who was addressing a mammoth crowd at his palace after the traditional Hawan Sallah also prayed Allah to make the efforts of those trying to pull Nigeria down to its knees fruitless by exposing them and their antics.
