Insiders involved in Air Peace burglary –Police
The Ondo State Police Command says it has arrested some suspects in connection with the attack on the office of the Air Peace Limited at Akure Airport.
Some hoodlums were said to have broken into the office on Sunday, carting away undisclosed sum of money.
It was gathered that the police had arrested no fewer than 10 persons for the incident.
Speaking with Punch correspondent on the telephone on Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the arrest of some suspects, but declined to mention the number of persons arrested.
He said the burglary might involve people working in the organisation, explaining that the hoodlums entered into the airline’s office without breaking any door.
