Instagram unveils new feature to boost user interaction within Stories

Video and picture-sharing social media platform Instagram has unveiled a new feature that aims to boost its user interaction within Stories by adding a comments attribute.

With the addition of the ability for followers to remark on each other’s Stories, Instagram has become a more community-focused platform, similar to livestreaming where users may participate in more extensive conversations.

Among the numerous updates made recently to boost interaction on the site is the addition of public comments. In addition to allowing users to hide Stories unless followers send them a direct message, Instagram just introduced music to profiles. This function is called “Reveal.”

Introducing Creator Lab, Instagram is also concentrating on developing fresh talent. To make the most of Instagram’s growing feature set, this educational portal provides advice and resources for prospective producers.

The feedback from younger customers, especially Gen Z, has informed many of these modifications, according to Paras Sharma, Meta’s Director of Global Partnerships in India.

To entice followers to participate more, interactive tools including “Add Yours” templates, “Add Yours Music,” “Frames,” and “Reveal” stickers have also been implemented.

Instagram’s recent improvements are driven by these trends, to create a platform that is more engaging and community-focused.
