Investigate IGP over allegations; probe Misau’s resignation –Tsav

A retired former Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Tsav, has said the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, should be investigated over the corruption allegations leveled against him by Senator Hamman Misau.

In an interview with Daily Trust, Tsav said the allegation of collecting N10 billion monthly allegedly generated from companies and some individuals should be investigated.

He also said Senator Misau should be investigated and the circumstances of his resignation from the police force clarified.
