Iran frees 4 U.S. prisoners

At least four Iranian-American prisoners including Washington Post reporter Jaason Rezaian (Convicted of espionage in Iran last year) have been released by Iranian authorities as the Asian country anticipates the lifting of international sanctions.

The other released prisoners include Saeed Abedini, Amir Hekmati and Nosratollah Khosravi.

Authorities in Iran said the prisoners were being swapped for seven Iranians held in U.S. prisons but there was no immediate U..S confirmation.

The seven Iranians expected in return include: listed the seven as Nader Modanlo, Bahram Mechanic, Khosrow Afghani, Arash Ghahreman, Tooraj Faridi, Nima Golestaneh and Ali Saboun.
