Iranian court jails 19 Russian women for life for joining ISIS

A court in Iran has slammed no less than 19 women with life sentences for ‘joining and supporting deadly terror group ISIS.

Reports say the women were among 560 women arrested and 600 children identified as members or relatives of the armed group that was defeated last year.

The faith of the convicts were determined by the Central Criminal Court which ruled that the Russian women were guilty of “joining and supporting” ISIS.

According to reports, many of the women who were accompanied by their children, addressed the court through a translator – a Russian -language professor at Baghdad University hired by the Russian embassy.
