Iran’s President warns Trump of ‘mother of all wars’

The President of Iran Hassan Rouhani has warned US President Hassan Rouhani of a ‘mother of all wars’ saying America cannot prevent Tehran from exporting oil.

In a televised speech in Iran’s capital, Tehran, Rouhani warned Trump not to escalate tensions with his country.

“Do not play with the lion’s tail or else you will regret it,” Rouhani said on Sunday, reiterating that the US cannot prevent it from exporting its crude oil to the international market.

“Peace with Iran would be the mother of all peace and war with Iran would be the mother of all wars,”

Weeks ago, Rouhani had also told Trump’s administration that it is unaware of the consequences of the oil ban imposed on Tehran.

Rouhani in a statement warned of the consequences of such a move noting that his country will stand firm against threats by the US to halt Iranian oil shipments.
