Irritated, Jibrin says Buhari govt now a lame duck for succumbing to blackmail
The suspended House of Representatives member from Kano State, Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he says is exhibiting signs of weakness.
Jibrin said once Buhari succumbs to blackmail by an individual, group or institution, he’s nothing but “finished and your presidency a certified lame duck”.
This was as he alleged that the President has allowed himself to be taken hostage and called on him to understand that he is playing into the hands of people who do not believe either in him or his government. “You will come back to these tweets in 18 months,” he added.
The former Chairman House Committee on Appropriation stated this in a series of tweets on his twitter handle.
He said, “A President must repel blackmail with all his arsenals or give up the presidency. You cannot be an effective president while in hostage!
“Mr President, you are playing into the hands of people who do not believe in you and your government. You will come back to these tweets in 18 months
“Mr President, such ‘political stability’ and ‘harmony’ that compels you to turn away your face where you shouldn’t is useless to our country! So why is the President appearing weak…as if he has to beg some political ‘OverLords’ to do his work in the name of ‘political stability’?

“Mr President, all your life you conducted yourself in such a way and manner that immunes you from blackmail which solidified your strength. However high the stakes are or necessity of the usual exaggerated ‘political expediency’ A President must refuse to be boxed or blackmailed
“As a President, once you succumb to blackmail by individual, group or institution, you are finished and your presidency certified lame duck!”
Jibrin’s tweets came on the heels of President Buhari’s birthday message to Speaker Yakubu Dogara, where he praised the House Speaker, saying that Dogara inspired his trust in the youths of the country to deliver Nigeria out of challenges.
Recall that Jibrin had alleged that Dogara and three other principal officers made criminal insertions of about N40billion into the 2016 budget.

Are u saying there was no evidence about the budget padding? Forget it, they padded the budget but buhari only overlooked it because he doesn’t want anything that will cause more rancour in his party as dogara is from the ruling party.
Buhari later admitted the budget was padded too
Just that jibril should have announced before time.

And Nigerians will call Jibrin names for saying all the truth! President Buhari should know what to tweet about and to whom he should send celebratory messages. Dogara has not proven to be a great speaker.

May God enrich your wisdom more. Buhari is honestly weak and he succumbs himself too much to sycophants, as a president he needs to know how to balance controversial issues and not support one person ahead of another.

Wise is a man who knows when to speak and when not to speak, Jibrin is the weak man here, not president Buhari. Jibrin will never know when to shut is mouth up, NEVER!
