ISIS claims attack on Libya police training centre

A bomb attack which targeted a police training centre in Libya on Thursday killing at least 65 people has been claimed by the Islamic State group (IS).

The truck bomb attack which struck in the western city of Zliten also left more than a 100 people injured and it is described as the deadliest since the 2011 fall of Muammar Ghaddafi.

The terror group also said it was responsible for a separate bomb attack at the oil port of Ras Lanuf which left seven people dead in the North African country which has descended into chaos since the overthrow of Gaddafi.
