Nigeria’s Ogenyi Onazi has resumed pre-season training with Trabzonspor in Hungary, according to his agent, Ayodele Stephen Makinwa.
This is coming few days after the Super Eagles’ vice captain reportedly terminated his contract with the Turkish club over unpaid wages.
The latest development thus ends the speculations he will leave the club, as his agent claims to have received assurance from the club that the outstanding salaries of the 24-year old will be paid.

“He has resumed pre-season with Trabzonspor and the issue has been resolved. We just hope it does not reoccur again,” Makinwa told Complete Sports.
Onazi joined Trabzonspor on a four-year deal from Italian side Lazio last August for a reported fee of €3.5m.
He scored twice and provided one assist in 38 games last season.
