Politics of godfatherism will never cease in Nigeria, is he the one to decide the fate of the state for the next governor or the state decides who to govern them. Is this democracy?

You have said it all, godfatherism is the attribute of Nigerian politics and there is nothing we can do about that.

He might look for his close confidant he can control at any point in time, that’s politics in Nigeria. He who the cap fits, will have the cap

It’s funny how Ajimobi thinks he can decide for the people of Oyo State in 2019, if you like name anyone as your successor and spend all your money on the person, he will fail woefully. Oyo State people are tired of having any governor of your type in power again

Having ruled the state two times in a row, I believe he knows the kind of [person that will rule the state better and continue from where he stopped for the purpose of continuity.

Just like what the Lagosians are currently enjoying, continuity is important in politics. I hope the people of Oyo State will allow whoever Ajimobi names rule them by voting him/her in
