Iwobi bags assist as Arsenal draw Liverpool in 6-goal thriller

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was on from the start as Arsenal drew 3-3 against Liverpool in a Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.

Iwobi, who provided the assist for the Gunners’ second goal, got a yellow card soon after and was substituted for Danny Welbeck in the 77th minute.

Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring for Liverpool in the first half, before Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 less than 7 minutes into the second half.

Arsenal then scored three goals in five minutes thanks to goals by Alexis Sanchez on 53 minutes, Granit Xhaka on 56 minutes and Mesut Ozil on 58 minutes.

The home side were heading to a win before Roberto Firmino equalized exactly 19 minutes before stoppage time.

The result meant Liverpool held onto fourth place on the league table, with Arsenal remaining fifth, a point behind the Reds.
