Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was in action for Everton in their 1-0 victory over Chelsea in a Premier League encounter on Sunday afternoon.

Richarlison scored the only goal of the encounter at the Goodison Park to boost the Toffees hopes of survival this season.

The Brazilian was gifted the chance when Cesar Azpilicueta dallied on the ball, allowing him to steal in and finish calmly.

Chelsea would have equalized but Mason Mount hit both posts with a 20-yard strike before Everton keeper Jordan Pickford brilliantly kept out Azpilicueta’s follow-up shot.

The win moves the Toffees to within two points of Burnley in 16th and Leeds in 17th, with a game in hand on both.

In another Premier League game played concurrently, Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman’s Leicester City lost 3-1 to Tottenham in London.
