Iwobi starts as Arsenal thump West Ham

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was on from the start as Arsenal thrashed West Ham in a Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The win for Arsenal is a perfect warm up ahead of Thursday’s Europa League semifinal clash with Atletico Madrid.

The Gunners got ahead on 51 minutes when Nacho Monreal fired in from a corner, but Arnautovic levelled both sides about 12 minutes after.

Aaron Ramsey restored the lead in the 82nd minute before Alexandre Lacazette took the game beyong West Ham.

The French forward made it 3-1 with a close-range shot in the 85th minute, before using his sidefoot to hit Arsenal’s fourth four minutes later.
Victory keeps Arsenal sixth, 11 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham with four games remaining.

In another Premier League game on Sunday, Burnley snatched a point at Stoke after they drew 1-1.
