Iyanya sparks rumours he may exit Mavin

Ex-Project Fame winner Iyanya Mbuk has sparked Mavin exit rumours after he released creative materials for his new track titled ‘Iyanu‘ (Holy Water) which surprisingly did not have the Mavin logo inscribed on it.

The creative material for the song in question also did mention that the track was produced by Mavin in-house producer which was the practise before now even as the Mavin logo on the promotional material was replaced by the logo of Temple Music his management company.

Reports say the disaffection within the crew became obvious when no one from the Mavin family wished Iyanya a happy birthday last week when he became a year older.

Sources say Iyanya has thus far been dissatisfied with the lack of progress he has made since teaming up with Don Jazzy at Mavin Records a year ago, especially with the fact that his label mates like Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello and Reekado Banks have made a great progress in the last 12 months.
