Japan lodges strong protest over presence of Chinese vessels over troubled waters

Japanese authorities in Tokyo have lodged a strong protest to Beijing over Chinese vessels sailing into disputed waters close to East China Sea islets.
This is the second time in two days that Tokyo is lodging a complaint to its neighbours over the sighting of fishing vessels close to the disputed waters.
Both Japan and China have been engaged in a long-running dispute over the uninhabited islets, known as the Senkaku in Japan and the Diaoyu in China.
