Jibrin needs urgent psychiatric evaluation –Leo Ogor

The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Leo Ogor, has said there is an urgent need to conduct psychiatric tests on Abdulmumin Jibrin, to determine if he is facing health challenges.
Ogor was reacting to the allegation by Jubrin, the former Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, that 10 leaders of the House received and diverted about N10 billion as office running allowances.
According to Jibrin, who has been engaged in a running battle with the leadership of the House over allegations of padding the 2016 budget, the amout was received between 2003 and 2016.
Jibrin also admitted receiving N650m.
But according to Ogor, who spoke in Abuja, the sudden change of focus on budget padding to allowances of members may be an evidence that he needed medical attention, adding that the rate at which Jibrin “churns out baseless figures” suggested that his “head should be examined urgently.
“His case is fast getting out of hands. Honestly, he needs help to stop peddling lies and to deliberately rubbish the names of his colleagues and the institution of the National Assembly.
“I have seen that this man has an issue with his head and he should see a psychiatrist. Tests should be conducted on him urgently. I don’t know what he stands to gain by peddling lies against his colleagues”, he said.
