The Federal Government Social intervention Program has wielded the big stick over an alleged fraud involving officials handling the National Home Grown School Feeding Program in Jigawa State.

According to State Focal Person, Social Intervention Program, Bala Usman Chamo, the local government coordinator and ten other cooks have been dismissed over allegations of fraud.

While speaking with newsmen on Thursday, during the official flag off for the distribution of stainless eating bowls and spoons for the program, Chamo expressed his dismay over the attitudes of some local government focal persons and cooks for sabotaging the governments efforts through diversion of funds for their personal use.
