Jimoh, agent of destabilization will never be Ondo gov, Fayose vows

Ahead the November 26 Ondo governorship election, Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has described Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim as an agent of destruction and that he will never be the governor of Ondo state.

He therefore called on the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Ondo people to continue their support for Eyitayo Jegede and not be distracted, adding that justice will prevail at the end.

The Ekiti State governor stated this while speaking on a radio programme in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Tuesday.

“I want my people in Ondo State to stand by Jegede, they should not be distracted. I believe justice will prevail. This is a fight against democracy.

“I don’t know Jimoh Ibrahim, he is not a member of the PDP, he is a spoiler, I don’t know how Jimoh Ibrahim will rule Ondo State. Justice will prevail on Jegede, there will definitely be light at the end of the tunnel. I know it is going to be praises for Jegede and the people of the state at the end of the day. God hates agents of destabilisation and it is very unfortunate that Jimoh Ibrahim is into this,” Fayose said.

Meanwhile, Fayose, and leaders of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) met in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday to sort out dissimilarities over the new law controlling cattle grazing in the state.

MACBAN leaders had demanded to be part of the patrol teams to implement the law and Governor Fayose in the meeting agreed and applauded their effort to support his administration in purging bad eggs among the cattle breeders.
