Joe Biden dismisses sexual assault accusations

Presidential candidate, Joe Biden has finally responded to the accusations of sexual assault levelled against him by his former aide, allegedly committed about 27 years ago.

Tara Reade, now 56, narrated that the incident took place when she was asked to deliver a duffle bag to the then senator. In a corridor around the Capitol Hill Complex, Biden had allegedly pinned her to a wall and molested her at age 29.

Biden, 77, has since dismissed the accusations as false, saying emphatically in a televised interview with MSNBC on Friday that, “It never, never happened. It didn’t. It never happened.”

He stated that Reade never reached out to him and didn’t remember her making any complaint(s) since the alleged incident took place.

“This never happened, and when she first made the claim, we made it clear that it never happened, and it’s as simple as that,” he said.

“I don’t know why after 27 years all of this gets raised,” Biden added. “But I’m not going to question her motive. I’m not going to attack her. I have a right to say, look at the facts. Check it out.” the former vice president stressed.
