Join the survey: Buhari says Nigeria must remain as one. Do you agree?

Published

on

Reacting to recent bombings in the Niger Delta area of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari had stated that the country’s unity is not negotiable. He also told a group of traditional rulers from the south east part of the country that Nigeria cannot breakup, and agitators of a Biafra republic should drop the idea. What do you think? Must Nigeria remain one?

Sentiment apart, it is not necessary for us to remain one indivisible sovereign state as long some parts don’t feel like staying . federalism means different races agreeing to form a central government but if they don’t feel like, they have rights to go. On this note I support Biafra to secede if they wish.

You have said my mind. South Sudan pulled out from Sudan when they were tired of Susan. So any tribes wishing to go should be allowed . chikena

Buhari wants the Nation to remain one but would give more attention to some tribes at the expense of others. It will be a surprise to him when the division happ3ns.

Nigeria needs everyone to be together, in one piece, things may be tough today, but our cooperation will make us overcome and we’d be happy together.

If everyone is ready for war, then we can start thinking of secession, but if peace is our utmost priority, we need to stand as one Nigeria, fight all issues together and celebrate as one Nigeria

It is when we break up we can truly know Nigeria has been Nigeria because of the strong support of the Igbos, but what do we get from the useless government? discrimination, unnecessary anger, and hatred.

UNITY BY THE BARREL OF A GUN IS SLAVERY.
THE TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF A COUNTRY SHOULD NOT BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE LIFE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE LIVING IN IT, WHO NEED SELF DETERMINATION.
THE CREATION OF A NATION IS AN ORGANIC PROCESS. THE WAY THE BRITISH CREATED NIGERIA SHOWS NIGERIA WAS DESIGNED NEVER TO WORK. THE CALL FOR BIAFRA RESTORATION IS A CALL FOR JUSTICE TO THE PEOPLE OF BIAFRA WHO SURVIVED THE POGROM BETWEEN 1966-1970 WHICH IS STILL ONGOING TILL DATE……#FREEBIAFRA
