Jonathan to Atiku: Beg Obasanjo, get PDP ticket

Published

on

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has one more hurdle to cross in his secret deal with some stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, The nation can authoritatively report.

It was learnt yesterday that Jonathan said Atiku must beg or apologize to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo to get the 2019 presidential ticket of the PDP on a platter of gold.

Although Obasanjo has quit partisan politics, Jonathan was of the opinion that “he is still a strong factor in shaping the future of the nation in 2019 because he is a force among the revered kingmakers.”

Jonathan is very correct because he’s a living testimony of how powerful Obasanjo is in Nigeria’s politics. If Atiku wants to get the PDP’s presidential ticket, he needs to beg Obasanjo

Obasanjo is no more a force to reckon with, Nigerians are now woke, they can no longer be influenced by any political godfather like it used to be in the past. Atiku should play his cards well and hope he’ll be favoured by Nigerians

Obasanjo is not a political godfather but a political devil that must always be reckon with, Atiku has to appease to Obasajo or wait until he dies before he can get anything done successfully in Nigeria’s politics

Atiku has a bitter past with Obasanjo, begging him is almost impossible because of what he did in the past.

Atiku can beg him but it’s of no use because BABA buhari can’t be moved by any force
