FORFEITED FUNDS: APC In UK refers to Patience Jonathan as ‘greedy monster’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed indefinitely, it’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow (Tuesday).

The postponement was announced after a meeting between chairman of the APC governor’s Forum, Atiku Bagudu and President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari and the governors took the decision after a brief meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Bagudu, while speaking with reporters after the meeting, said the governors appealed to the President to support the postponement until they were able to resolve the issues in the party.

The Kebbi State Governor also confirmed that the President supported the postponement.

“Yes, the President did. He is very happy”, Atiku-Bagudu said when he was asked if the President supported the idea.

The governors of Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Kwara, Kano, Nasarawa, Edo, Kebbi, Jigawa, Gombe, Borno, Niger, Plateau, Lagos, Katsina, and Imo States were in attendance while those of Kaduna, Ekiti, Yobe, and Kogi States were absent.

The postponement may not be unconnected with last minute efforts at saving the embattled National Chairman of the Party, Adams Oshiomhole, who was suspended by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
