Buhari returns from 8th medical trip to London since 2015

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday returned from his medical trip to London, the United Kingdom.

Buhari touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.

He was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Muhammad Bello, service chiefs, and some presidential aides.

Before leaving London, the President on Thursday visited the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, who many believed received treatment in a United States hospital for an undisclosed illness.

Buhari left the country for the UK last month.

The trip was the President’s eighth to the European nation since he assumed office in 2015.
