Confusion in Bayelsa as court disqualifies APC guber candidate, Lyon
Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC) may have been thrown into a serious confusion with the disqualification of its governorship candidate, David Lyon, two days to Election Day.
A Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, not only disqualified Lyon, but also held that the APC cannot field candidates in the Saturday November 16, 2019, governorship election in the state.

The development is coming two days after a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, also disqualified the state deputy governorship candidate of the APC, Biobarakuma Degi, from participating in the poll.
