A Federal High Court sitting in Kano on Monday sacked Abba Kabir as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this weekend’s election.

The presiding Judge, Justice Ambrose Lewis ruled that the party did not conduct primary elections in the state, hence, the emergence of Kabir was invalid.

The plaintiff, Ali Amin-little, who was a gubernatorial aspirant of the party had approached the court, challenging the process that earned Kabir the ticket.
