Sanwo-Olu swears in commissioners, special advisers, assign portfolios

Barely one week after being sworn-in as governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has signed the 2019 Appropriation bill of N873.5bn into law.

The bill was presented by former governor Akinwumi Ambode to the House of Assembly in February 2019.

The budget as signed on Monday by Sanwo-Olu shows a Capital Expenditure of N479,691,073,705, and Recurrent Expenditure of N393,841,387,020.00.

The governor reiterated his commitment to the development of the state, saying his administration would ensure its implementation to better the lots of people of the state.
