JUST IN: Three teachers abducted, no student missing in Kaduna school – Gov El-Rufai

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai said on Monday evening that three teachers were abducted by armed bandits at the Universal Basic Education (UBE) Primary School in Rama, Birnin-Gwari local government area of the state.

The governor, who disclosed this to the Television Continental (TVC) in Kaduna, however, added that no student has been declared missing by the school authorities.

Gunmen on motorcycles had on Monday morning attacked the school when the students were just arriving at the premises of the facility.

The attack was the latest in a series of attacks targeting schools in Nigeria, coming just days after 39 students were abducted by a criminal gang in the same state.
